Millwall Football Club fans were injured in an unprovoked attack after the Bristol City game, with four men assaulted and three needing medical attention. The attack occurred on Hotwell Road in Bristol, near the Mardyke pub, around 30 minutes after the game finished at Ashton Gate. Police were called to the scene and have launched an investigation into the incident. The victims were visiting from out of area and were not known to the suspects. The attack is believed to be unprovoked, and the suspects are not known by the victims. Enquiries into the incident are ongoing, and officers have already conducted area tours, house-to-house, and CCTV enquiries.
