Millwall Football Club has signed winger Kyrell Lisbie for a reported fee of £2.5 million, just four years after being released from the Watford academy.
What happened?
Lisbie, with his twin brother, Kyreece, who has just signed for Reading, spent 12 months with the Hornets between 2021-22.
Neither player was deemed good enough to make the grade, though, with Kyrell dropping back into non-league with Woodford Town and then returning to former club Cray Valley Paper Mills.
Why it matters for Millwall Football Club
He impressed with the south London club, memorably setting up an equaliser against Charlton Athletic in the FA Cup, before moving on to Braintree Town in 2024 and then Peterborough United in 2025.
The winger, 22, scored 14 goals in 51 appearances for Posh last season, earning himself a big move into the Championship with Millwall, who lost to Hull City in last season's play-off semi-final, and are currently 12 points behind leaders Coventry in the title race.
